- Establish and maintain processes for managing scope during the project lifecycle, setting quality and performance standards and assessing risks
- Ensure adherence and adoption of Munich Re’s project management methodology – ‘MR Essentials’
- Defining project objectives, project scope, roles & responsibilities.
- Defining resource requirements and managing resource availability & allocation – both internal and third party.
- Outlining a budget based on requirements and tracking costs to deliver project on budget.
- Preparing a detailed project plan to schedule key project milestones, workstreams & activities. Managing delivery of the project according to this plan.
- Tracking project and providing regular reports on project status to project team and key stakeholders.
- Managing and adjusting for any changes in project scope, schedule and / or budget, in accordance with approved authorities and change processes.
- Identifying and mitigating potential risks.
- Managing the relationship and communication with the client and all stakeholders, ensuring the project is delivered to their satisfaction.
Knowledge and Skills
- University degree preferably in Computer engineering / IT, Business Administration, Liberal Arts, Social Sciences or similar qualification
- 3+ years of experience in delivering IT or digital projects preferably in Financial Services or a regulated industry.
- Successful coordination of project deliverables based on an understanding of the customer needs
- Ability to manage project costs and budgets to agreed baselines
- Demonstrated personal organizational skills and ability to coordinate the efforts of others involved in the delivery of projects, including negotiating deadlines and commitments
- Demonstrated ability to work globally across businesses and international cultures to deliver results
- Preferably, you are already ITIL, Scrum or PMI certified or have the readiness to pursue one with our support
- Recognized as proactive and with high problem solving competence
