Location: Cork Region (80% Cork City area)About the Role:
Optimize Recruitment is seeking a Project Manager (Civils) for a strong, longstanding Tier 2 contractor that operates across multiple sectors of the Irish construction industry. With a focus on Roads & Transportation, the company has an excellent reputation for delivering public sector projects in the Cork City area, with some projects extending into Cork County. They currently have a significant volume of ongoing projects, with further work scheduled in the coming months. Offering a broad scope of services from traditional construction and project management to design, build, and asset commissioning, they provide excellent career progression opportunities within a dynamic and supportive environment.Responsibilities:
- Leading project delivery, ensuring scope, cost, and schedule adherence.
- Managing teams and subcontractors to ensure quality outcomes.
- Coordinating with stakeholders and ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Maintaining accurate project documentation and reporting.
- Ensuring project safety and environmental compliance.
Requirements:
- Degree in Project Management, Civil Engineering or similar.
- 5+ years’ experience in a project manager role (construction). (Irish/UK experience advantageous)
- Strong leadership and project management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project.
- Full, clean Irish/EU driving licence.
- Relevant CSCS certifications.
Salary & Benefits:
- Competitive salary: €70,000 – €83,000 or higher (open to negotiation and dependent on experience).
