The PMO & Business development team is supporting the Ferry division in realizing it’s “Moving Together Towards 2030” strategy. The team assists in transforming, expanding, standardizing, digitizing and decarbonizing our pan-European network in close collaboration with the core Ferry Management Team (FMT) and other relevant departments in the Division and DFDS Group. The team is part of the Ferry Commercial organization but works on projects across the entire Ferry Division.The team you will be part of plays an active part of shaping and driving the strategic direction of the Ferry division. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Driving forward our ‘Moving Together Towards 2030’ strategy for the Division jointly with the FMT
• Heading divisional and local strategic & commercial projects
• Pursuing and heading greenfield projects for starting new routes and activities
• Leading potential smaller ferry acquisitions and integrations
• Gathering information and insights from the market

As part of this, your responsibilities will include:

• Driving key projects forward incl. project planning and management
• Analytical work incl. problem solving, data analysis and business cases
• Setting the organization up for successful implementation
• Sparring on strategic topics with senior stakeholders
• Preparing reports and presentations

About you

You need to have a strong personal drive, a good sense of teamwork and general curiosity. You have a good sense of project management, strong problem solving and analytical skills and excellent communication skills.Furthermore, we expect you to have:

• 1-3 years relevant professional experience within management consulting (in-house or external), business development, project management or similar. Experience within transport and logistics industry is not a prerequisite
• Master’s degree in e.g. business administration, economics, finance, strategy, or engineering
• Experience within Excel and PowerPoint
• Full professional proficiency in English
