Join our Project Management team and bring your passion and talent to work.Project Manager R&D Platform DevelopmentMännedorf, ZurichYour contributionIn this pivotal role, you will lead development projects, ensuring they meet customer expectations, deadlines, budgets and overall project goals. You will own, drive and be fully accountable for mid-size projects, including platform projects.Responsibilities

• Define and build project teams with the right cross-functional mix of professional skills.
• Manage the planning, staffing, and execution of development projects for lab automation and clinical diagnostics according to applicable development processes.
• Plan, monitor, and report on complex projects, coordinating interfaces with related projects.
• Ensure proactive and proper communication within the organization and with stakeholders, including management board members.
• Demonstrate clear leadership within the organization towards all management levels.
• Coordinate team members located across multiple locations.
• Through leadership and methodological competence, ensure efficient implementation and adherence to processes, guidelines, and regulations.
• Manage and coordinate cross-functional team activities to achieve overall project targets, including design transfer and industrialization.
• Proactively manage stakeholders and identify and solve conflicts within the project team and with stakeholders.

Your backgroundWe’re not just looking for hard skills: We’re looking for people who bring their passion and talent to work.

• BSc or MSc in a technical degree, preferably in life science, mechanical, electrical, or software engineering.
• A PhD in Life Sciences, along with project management education, PMP or similar certifications, and training in change management and leadership, will set you apart.
• Over 3 years of experience in project management, preferably in the development of complex instruments or automated solutions for diagnostic solutions.
• Strong presentation and communication skills, capable of presenting technical solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience in development of platform products and architecture; leading of regulated product development projects and agile project management.
• Experience in product management and business administration is a bonus.
• Fluent in English; additional languages (German and others) are a plus.
