Apply today.The Role.GMC are currently looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our team.Key Duties and Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:· Be the primary point of contact and responsible for running numerous projects within urban and rural environments, with particular attention to urban environments.· Ability to view projects through a commercial lens.· Must have the ability to manage both sewer & water connections across the greater Dublin area and surrounding counties.· Ability to detail costs to complete values and claims narratives.· Building successful relationships with Clients, Client Representatives, and other 3rd party providers and stakeholders.· Ability to draw, construct, and review drawings with a high level of detail for value engineering and efficient design.· Ability to study design briefs and prepare proposed design packs from concept to detailed designs, with input into environmental, archaeology, and other relevant aspects.· Ability to draft and communicate regular reports for the purposes of status reporting as well as guidance across the business with a view of directing actions required.· Manage an existing team with communication and leadership skills that are both efficient, effective, and motivational.· Review construction practicalities of complex design works within the water and waste water industry.· Ability to liaise and coordinate seamlessly with multiple levels of Staff, Departments, Clients, Suppliers, Subcontractors, and any other stakeholders.· Interested in developing current team structures and processes with the ability to introduce new people to the company, along with external new supply chains.· Manage SI works.The Candidate: Required Experience and Competencies:· Full clean driver’s license essential.· A relevant qualification is desirable.· Experience with UK or Irish Water Standards (Potable & Foul) essential.· Confident, motivated and can work independently as well as part of a team.· Ability to work under pressure with strict deadlines.· Time management abilities to meet targets.· Good communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.· Integrity and respect for confidentiality and privacy.Become a part of something bigger.At the heart of GMC is our people, from engineers through to customer service and we aim to work collaboratively towards our common goals.GMC is an equal opportunity employer, and we aim to recruit and retain like-minded people from diverse backgrounds with a wide range of expertise.In GMC we foster a work culture that promotes collaboration and learning, building an environment where our people have the capacity to maximise their potential whilst gaining the opportunity to continuously develop.Our Future.Since the founding of GMC in 1981 by Gerry McCloskey, GMC has grown to be Ireland’s leading Civils and Utilities company and the future for GMC is bright.
