They are seeking experienced Project Managers to work on a number of UK and Ireland based projects with values ranging from £50m to £500m.Past experience in water projects is not a requirement, and candidates from a mechanical or civil project engineering background are encouraged to apply.This role would grant great exposure to exciting projects. If you have any queries about this role, you can contact Aaron by e-mail aaron@jobcontax.com or phone +353-1-9696684Project Manager- Water – Dublin WestEmployerThe successful applicant will report to the Contracts Manager and will be responsible for managing the daily functions of the contract to prioritise safety and maximise efficiency & commercial success.Promote and ensure high standards of Health, Safety and Quality on site.Project planning and programming works.Managing the project in line with programme & ensuring the project stays within budget.Client and stakeholder management.Management of Direct labour and Plant resources.Management of Sub Contractors.Management of Materials.Advising on commercial risks within the projectIdentifying change and implementing change control process and agreement.Facilitate compiling the as-built drawings / sketches and safety file.RequirementsAt least 8 years’ Project Management experience in the Civil or Mechanical Engineering sectorsExperience in water treatment and pipeline projects, preferable but not essentialA broad knowledge of Public Works contractsExcellent leadership and communication skillsGood commercial and business acumen and IT literacy including use of microsoft projectPrevious experience of AutoCAD, preferable but not essentialA third level qualification in a construction related disciplineA clean Full Irish Driving LicencePackageCompetitive salary and benefits.Discretionary annual bonus and annual salary review.Above market rate contributory pension scheme available from day one.27 days annual leave per annum.Generous Private Healthcare Allowance.Dedicated and continued investment in your professional development.Other benefits include retail discounts, cycle to work scheme etc.ContactAaron Behan is the consultant managing this position.If you have any queries about this role, you can contact Aaron by e-mail aaron@jobcontax.com or phone +353-1-9696684
