Are you the new Public Affairs Advisor to join Grundfos’ Global External Relations Team?Are you passionate about shaping policy and driving impactful change?Grundfos is seeking a dynamic Public Affairs Advisor to join our Centre of Excellence function within our Global External Relations team, based in Denmark. In this role, you will support the implementation of global policy positions, develop strategic insights, and engage with key stakeholders to advance our mission of sustainability and innovation. This role will be part of our Centre of Excellence, covering Grundfos globally, and will involve working in close collaboration with other teams cross-functionally.Through Grundfos’ role as a global leader in water solutions, the External Relations team is actively engaged in the global political debate on some of the world’s most significant challenges: reducing energy and water consumption and bringing safe water and sanitation to all.External Relations responsibilitiesThe team supports all parts of the business on political issues, and has a global responsibility to:

  • Engage in Political Forums: Support management in national and international political initiatives.
  • Analyse Political Developments: Assess the impact of political and legislative changes related to Grundfos’ business. Identify and analyse political trends to inform strategic decisions.
  • Support Climate and Environmental Policy: Assist divisions and group functions in policy advocacy.
  • Co-create Communication Materials: Develop position papers, consultation responses, opinion pieces, and speeches.
  • Lead External Relations Projects: Execute initiatives and projects within the External Relations team and support lobby projects/colleagues in the markets

Your Background

  • Experience: 1-3 years of experience in public affairs, including political and institutional stakeholder management and political agenda setting.
  • Skills: Strong strategic mindset, analytical skills, people and networking skills, and excellent communication and persuasion abilities.
  • Education: Relevant degree in political science, law, business, public affairs, or a related field.
  • Independence: Must be able to run initiatives and take responsibility and ownership independently, managing tasks and processes with minimal supervision. Demonstrated project management skills and the ability to lead complex initiatives.
