As a Public Affairs Manager, you will be part of the Global Public Affairs team, supporting initiatives that influence policy and regulation while working with key political and governmental stakeholders to create an environment that aligns with our business objectives.In this role, you will contribute to discussions on artificial intelligence, European competitiveness, and geopolitical risk management, ensuring Milestone remains engaged in relevant policy conversations. You will assist in monitoring regulatory developments, preparing briefings, and supporting engagement efforts across Denmark, the EU, and secondarily in the US and the UK.You will collaborate with team members to maintain relationships with policymakers and industry experts, providing research and analysis to inform strategic advocacy efforts. Your work will also involve tracking global geopolitical risks and evaluating their impact on the industry, helping Milestone navigate complex international challenges.Additionally, you will support the CEO and senior leadership on various engagement activities, including preparing materials for international trips and coordinating key stakeholder meetings. This role offers an opportunity to develop expertise in global public affairs while contributing to the team’s growth and success.Responsibilities:

• Support Milestones relationships with policy makers, governmental agencies, and civil society organizations, particularly within the EU and Denmark and with a secondary focus in the US and the UK.
• Work with the CEO on high-level public affairs initiatives, including international travel and engagements.
• Influence policy development in areas related to technology, digital, and security, ensuring alignment with Milestone’s strategic objectives.
• Provide strategic counsel on political and regulatory matters affecting the business.
• Draft and present communication assets, policy proposals, statements, and briefs that effectively communicate Milestone’s goals.
• Monitor and respond to relevant regulatory and legislative developments that may impact Milestone’s operations.
• Collaborate with our Global Public Affairs Lead in all the above

About YouYou have a solid understanding of the political landscape in Brussels and Denmark, with a growing ability to navigate regulations and policies to support business objectives. You are skilled in external communication and agenda setting, ensuring that key priorities are effectively framed and advanced in political and business discussions.You bring valuable experience from working in an international environment, possibly with exposure to diplomacy or cross-border cooperation. Ideally, you have worked within the technology sector and demonstrated your ability to represent an organization in political discussions and engage with media at a national level.You value collaboration and enjoy being part of a team where everyone supports and builds on each other’s work.You are adaptable and determined when working toward important goals, maintaining enthusiasm even when processes take time. You thrive in a team-focused setting and are motivated by opportunities to contribute and grow. Your curiosity, approachable nature, and strong interpersonal skills help you build positive relationships with colleagues, policymakers, and external partners. You foster trust and respect, contributing to the team’s and organization’s success.Requirements:

• Experience in public affairs in the EU and Denmark, with exposure to US/UK frameworks being a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to support policy initiatives and contribute to relationship-building with political stakeholders and coalitions.
• Growing network within political circles, government entities, and civil society organizations in the EU and Denmark, particularly in areas related to technology, digital, and security policy.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex topics in clear and accessible ways for different audiences.
• Strategic thinker with a proactive mindset, skilled in external communication and agenda-setting to support business objectives.
• Adaptable and diplomatic, able to navigate evolving challenges while maintaining professionalism and persistence.
• Collaborative team player with a strong willingness to learn, grow, and contribute to collective success.
• Willingness to be based at our headquarters in Brøndby and travel as needed.

About the Team
You will be joining the Global Communication team, reporting directly to VP, Lisbeth Nedergaard. While you will be teaming up with our Global Public Affairs Lead, you will also collaborate with the broader Global Communication team on both internal and external communications as well as our global strategy and legal teams. Although the pace can be fast, we prioritize supporting one another and always make time for team bonding.Contact and application
