Come be a part of a journey where finance meets innovation, and every day brings a new opportunity to make a difference.JOB PURPOSEThe R2R Analyst – EU FET will support the end-to-end R2R MEC close and controls processes within the EU FET, across all EU markets and BUs. This role involves assisting in the management reporting responsibilities, ensuring delivery excellence of reporting and control activities. The R2R Analyst will work closely with the R2R Manager to drive continuous improvement opportunities with R2R MEC and controls in the EU FET.RESPONSIBILITIESFinance Excellence & ControlSupport the end-to-end R2R MEC close and controls processes, including management reporting responsibilities, across all EU markets and BUs.Ensure delivery excellence of reporting and control activities, including MEC (COPA governance & maintenance), control activities, and ad hoc decision support for each BU and market.Assist in driving continuous improvement opportunities with R2R MEC and controls in the EU FET.Collaborate with the reporting and controls center of excellence within the EU FET, monitoring performance and supporting team members.Coordinate with the Global Management Reporting team (Uniops) to provide essential decision support on month-end close activities, including COPA assessments, reconciliations, and process improvements across all European markets.Assist with local reporting requirements, such as statutory reporting and audit support.Work closely with the Financial Reporting team to resolve issues and ensure a seamless month-end process.Value Interventions / Project WorkAssist in overseeing all markets and act as a point of contact for the cross-market view of all budget control outputs.Support the delivery of the scope of reporting committed to be completed with EU FET.Contribute to the training agenda required for the team and business stakeholders.ALL ABOUT YOUExperiences & QualificationsPreferred: Qualified accountant or equivalent.Preferred: Previous experience in reporting or controlling Finance roles.Preferred: Understanding and knowledge of Unilever’s Chart of Accounts and management reporting structure is an added advantage.SkillsMust-have:Ability to work fluidly with data and across systems.Strong analytical skills, and accounting and data accuracy skills.Excellent attention to detail.Strong prioritisation skills.Excellent engagement, presentation, and communication skills.Ability to work collaboratively with other key stakeholders.Strength in holding others accountable, particularly peers and senior leadership.NOTESPlease apply via this portal as e-mail applications may not be processed and include your Future Fit Plan if possible.By applying for this vacancy, you are confirming that you have made your Line Manager aware of your application and that you are at a point in your career with Unilever where it is appropriate for you to be applying for other positions.Should you require additional information or reasonable adjustments to allow you to present your best self during this process, please contact your Talent Partner Lewis Wood onWhat we offerWhilst the role is advertised on a full-time basis, we would be happy to discuss possible flexible working options and what this may look like for you.
