In this role, you will lead global research and development projects focused on electrical energy systems, automation, and digitalization for the maritime industry. If you are ready to take on responsibility and learn new things in the core of project management this could be the place for you!About the roleAs an R&D Project Manager, you will take full ownership of complex product development projectsfrom planning to execution. Your work will focus on developing innovative technologies and systems for ABBs Marine Service and Digital business line. -Work with advanced technologies such as frequency converters (drives), battery storage, distributed power generation, DC microgrids, power and energy management systems, and digital energy optimization
-Collaborate with cross-functional and global teams to align technical efforts with business objectives
-Promote innovation and technical excellence to strengthen ABBs leadership in the marketWe are looking for-Masters degree in Electrical Engineering or Energy and Process Systems Engineering
-Experience in leading R&D projects
-Knowledge of system drives and distributed power generation is considered an advantage
-Background in system integration business is a plus
-A creative and analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
-A team-oriented attitude with a proactive approach
-Familiarity with lean and agile R&D methodologies and an IPMA C certification (or equivalent) are beneficialTo succeed in the role, your personal skills are:-Goal oriented
