Job description

The dermatology service is broadly though not exclusively divided into a medical dermatology service and a dermatologic surgery. The department is incredibly busy primarily due to the volume of skin cancers being diagnosed and treated. Also, on the medical side the demands from other tertiary specialties such as Haematology/Oncology presents a complex case mix of inpatient consultations.This post offers a valuable opportunity to gain further experience in dermatology within a large academic teaching hospital. The successful candidate will work as part of a multidisciplinary team providing comprehensive dermatological care across a range of clinical settings.Duties will include:

• General and surgical dermatology outpatient clinics
• Minor dermatological surgical procedures
• Supervision of phototherapy services
• Participation in subspecialty clinics depending on service needs and candidate interest (e.g. inflammatory dermatoses, skin cancer, epidermolysis bullosa (EB), Mohs surgery)
