Jobs on the horizon- Welcome to Eckerö Line!We are currently seeking a Repairman to join the Engine Department of M/S Finlandia. This is a permanent position, starting in September 2025 or as agreed.As a Repairman, you will be responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the vessel’s technical equipment, ensuring everything remains in excellent working condition. On board M/S Finlandia, the role rotates after each shift between Engine Repairman, Sanitary Repairman, and Interior Fitter duties.We are looking for a positive, service-oriented professional with strong language and technical skills. The working language onboard is English; knowledge of Finnish and Swedish is considered an asset.To succeed in this role, we believe you have:-Strong problem-solving abilities-The ability to work independently-Hands-on technical skills, especially in welding and lathe operationWe are seeking a team member with relevant qualifications and experience, a proactive approach to safety and environmental standards, and a positive attitude.Requirements:-A valid Able Seafarer Engine / Repairman Certificate (STCW III/5)M/S Finlandia sails under the Finnish flag on the Helsinki–Tallinn route. The position follows a 1:1 rotation schedule.
