This is a key position within the department and requires a person with demonstrated track record of leading research teams, patent generation and a recognized industry technology expert. The team goal is to enable ordinary consumers to create masterpieces. This Team will play a leading role in researching new technology and delivering specific solutions for next generation products including mobile devices, cloud services, IOT, etc and standards.Now we are looking for a:Research & standard engineer in audio coding & processing (m/f/d)who is specialized in at least one of the field below:

• Research and development of immersive audio recording and processing algorithms targeting consumer products OR
• Research and development of conventional or AI based audio coding OR
• Research and development of audio processing technology for XR
• Participation in standardization

Requirements

• PhD degree in Acoustic, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field AND
• Experience with microphone array audio signal processing algorithms OR
• Specialization in audio compression and audio signal processing OR
• Hands-on experience in developing audio solutions and building innovative audio recording prototypes
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills combined with team spirit, high flexibility, openness for an international environment
• Independent and well-structured working style with a hands-on, can-do attitude
• Fluency in English (written and spoken), German is a plus
