WE ARE LOOKING FOR A RESOURCE ANALYSTResource management is a department responsible for planning our crew and ground handling staff. Ground Rostering is a function within the department responsible for rostering of all operational departments in SAS Ground Handling Sweden, Denmark, and Norway. Including Check in, Gate, Ramp, Baggage sorting, Ticket Office, Arrival Services etc. Our team is based at Arlanda, Gardermoen and Kastrup. This role will be focused on Arlanda and will report directly to Head of Rostering Ground Handling.PurposeAs a Resource Analyst you are responsible for making it possible to allocate the right number of people, at the right time and with the right qualification. You work both with demand calculations and the balance between staff and demand to ensure schedules which cover the operational needs. Keeping a close collaboration with colleagues within the planning process, managers and frontline staff is key to a successful delivery.Key Responsibilities

• Staff scheduling
• Qualification forecasts
• Simulations and calculations of resource demand

Supporting role regarding:

• Maintaining correct resource parameters in our planning systems
• Updating the optimization model in our planning systems
• Demand calculations for budget and forecast

ExperienceThe candidates we are looking for are interested in the airline industry and likes to work close to the daily operation but still have responsibility for long-term tasks and strategic projects. As a Resource Analyst you are working daily in our Planning systems which requires a system-oriented person and a willingness to learn. The systems are complex and requires knowledge in optimization and the ability to have an overview and work with details at the same time.

• A Master or/and Engineering degree, preferably with focus on Economics, Logistics or Transport.
• Advanced knowledge in Excel.
• Basic knowledge in Simulation and Optimization.
• Basic programming knowledge is a merit but not necessary.

As a person you are analytical, structured, system oriented and likes to learn new skills. You have the ability not only to learn things by heart but likes to understand how things work. To be able to succeed you need to be a good communicator, both in relations with other team members but also with unions and managers.
