Resource ManagerWe are a leading high voltage engineering company, specialising in delivering innovative power solutions to clients across the energy sector. Our projects are predominantly within the renewables sector. With a commitment to safety, quality, and sustainability, we’re expanding our team and seeking a Resource Manager to optimise our workforce and project delivery.Location: Hybrid working, remote possible but must be able to attend either the North Shields or Belfast Office when required.About the roleAs a Resource Manager, you will be responsible for effectively allocating human and material resources to meet project demands while maintaining high standards of operational efficiency. You will collaborate closely with project managers, technical teams, and senior leadership to ensure the right people with the right skills are deployed at the right time.Key Responsibilities:Develop and manage resource plans to support multiple high-voltage engineering projects.Monitor resource availability and capacity, ensuring optimal allocation across projects.Identify and address potential resource conflicts or shortages.Collaborate with HR and technical managers to recruit, onboard, and develop talent.Track and report on resource utilisation, project progress, and performance metrics.Maintain an accurate skills matrix to identify training and development needs.Continuously improve resource management processes to align with business goals.What We Offer:A dynamic and collaborative work environment.Opportunities for professional growth and career development.Competitive salary and benefits package.Flexible working options.Ready to Power Your Career?

- Proven experience as a Resource Manager, Workforce Planner, or similar role within an engineering, construction, or energy-related environment
- Strong understanding of high-voltage engineering operations and project workflows
- Excellent organisational and analytical skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Proficiency in resource management software and project management tools
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels
Desired Criteria
- Degree in Business Management, Engineering, or a related field
- Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) or Resource Management (e.g., CRMP)
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in the energy sector
