Please note: role is internally titled Retail Relief & Support ManagerSalary: £25,266 per annum + mileage reimbursementWorking Pattern: 5 days over a 7 day weekCovering – Cambridgeshire & Hertfordshire including:

• Shops covered by role include – applicants should ideally be situated in a location to be able to regularly travel to the following;

• Cambridge
• St Ives
• Huntingdon
• Ely
• Soham
• Royston

• Able to adapt to last minute changes and flexible to work in different locations.
• Able to work on your own initiative and problem solve.

Do you have:

• Previous retail experience – charity shop experience is preferred but not essential.
• Hands-on approach and the ability to motivate a team of volunteers.
• Experience of maximising sales & generating income.

Responsibilities include:

• Co-ordinate volunteer effort to ensure that the shops maximise their turnover whilst minimising costs.
• Ensure that volunteers are well informed and motivated so that they can develop to their individual potential.
• Maintain a high standard of display, presentation and cleanliness throughout the shops.
• Manage and undertake the sorting, moving and storage of a high volume of donated goods.
• Ensure that all monies are banked, and financial returns completed on a weekly basis.
• Responsibility for all aspects of security – stock, premises, money (retail income and cash donations) and volunteers / staff.
