We are expanding our Risk Advisory group and are now looking for a new colleague to join our Risk Advisory team in Oslo.About the jobRisk Advisory is a part of Fixed Income, Currency and Commodity (FICC) in SEB and works as an integrated part of the respective product teams. The role will be an essential contributor to Risk Advisory’s advisory capabilities.Analytical work such as research, financial modelling, risk quantification, model building and preparing presentations is essential, but so is also talking to clients and being able to act as their sparring partner in what often can be complicated risk management issues.You will be part of a global Risk Advisory Organization, and while the role is based in Oslo, you will also be expected to cover Risk Advisory’s activities in Copenhagen and participate in projects across SEB’s geographies. In addition, you will keep close contact- and work with other relevant stakeholders for FICC such as Investment Banking and the Financial Sponsor Group.Who we are looking forYou have a degree in business, finance, quantitative sciences or similar and 2 to 4 years of relevant work experience, ideally having worked within corporate Treasury with FX, interest rate and/or commodity risk management. You have a genuine interest in finance and an inborn curiosity to learn and constantly develop your skill set.We emphasize that candidates with technological interest and programming skills (e.g. Python) will be highly valued. Seamless communication and collaboration with other units across the bank and our clients is key to our success.
