If you’re passionate ASIC validation & Debug and thrive in a innovative, forward thinking environment, then this role is for you!What you will do:We are searching for a skilled RFIC Validation Engineer. In this role you have the unique opportunity to be at the forefront of market-leading, cutting-edge RF & mixed signal ICs, Converter ICs (TRx ICs).Responsibilities include: –
- Develop automated test scripts to test, characterize and optimize parametric performance on RF &MS ASIC sub-system level, or block level, at a laboratory test bench.
- Developing validation plans and test methodologies in a cross functional team together with design and system leads
- Operating RF measurement equipment, developing instrument drivers along with test environment improvements e.g. result handling, data visualization etc.
- Analyze issues & root cause identification encountered during investigating te DUT, with the ability to identify and solve problems.
- Connect and collaborate with different stakeholders e.g. Production test team and other cross-functional teams.
- Prepare and present status including progress tracking.
- Supporting IC Evaluation board/PCB design & development work.
The skills you bring:
- Master’s degree or Phd in Electrical/Hardware/Embedded/SoC Engineering or Wireless communication/systems or Computer science or equivalent.
- Hands-on experience on operating an array of RF Test equipment (e.g. spectrum Analyzers, network analyzers, Oscilloscope etc.).
- Programming skills in Python & MATLAB for test script generation in a HW/SW environment.
- Creating test automation scripts to run in lab.
- Time management skills and the ability to work towards a deadline.
- Team spirit and the desire to accept various challenges are essential.
- Solid communication skills and proficiency in English
Additional skills (Advantageous/ Preferred):
- Experience in characterizing and debugging RF ASIC/ SoC and RF&MS components, including root cause analysis in the laboratory.
- Understanding in RF fundamentals & RF measurement techniques.
- Good knowledge about RF PCB design flow along with skill on PCB design tool
- Skills in other languages such as C/C++, LabVIEW are an advantage.
