Learn more at .The roleThe Inside Sales / SMB function is responsible for selling the Company’s products and services to new and/or existing clients and developing or expanding accounts remotely via telephone or other digital channels. Primary responsibility is to grow the revenue stream through strong retention, cross-sell and up-sell of new opportunities and managing the renewal process for small to medium sized business.Responsibilities
- Fulfill the role of trusted advisor on Dun & Bradstreet solutions through the development of strong, positive relationships with clients.
- Manage the renewal process for small to medium businesses.
- Carry out regular account management activity to “Protect” existing accounts. Proactively identify accounts at risk of churn and implement retention strategies.
- Grow the revenue stream by identifying new logo opportunities, win-back opportunities and cross-sell opportunities.
- Proactively look for ways to improve the customers’ current processes and implement/upgrade new or more effective modern solutions.
- Collaborate with the Solution Sales to develop accounts and achieve revenue targets
- Provide support to customers to help resolve complex contract or usage queries and invoice disputes
- Effectively and powerfully communicate the value proposition to prospective customers through a consultative process to ensure customer growth.
- Develop and maintain consistent and accurate data in relevant CRM software (e.g. SFDC) and other sales tools to support forecasting
Skills
- Minimum of two (2) years of inside Sales, renewal sales or sales support experience with a strong track record of success.
- Proven success in B2B sales, and account management experience are preferred
- Highly driven, focused and committed with consistent sales achievement
- Proven ability to work independently as well as a member of a team with flexibility to adapt and manage change effective in an ever-changing environment
- Ability to manage and report on opportunities throughout the various stages within the sales pipeline.
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., SFDC) and Microsoft Office Suite skills
- Ability to operate in a high velocity, metrics driven sales organization
- Positive “can do” attitude, sense of urgency and strong desire to be successful
- Strong phone presence with active listening, negotiation and closing skills
- Have a knowledge of up-to-date industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
