Your main focus will be on developing and implementing sales strategies to propel innovative solutions from concept to pilot installations and ultimately to full-scale commercial launch within the C&I sector.Operating as a software startup within the larger Elisa corporation, we offer the unique blend of a lean startup environment combined with the resources and financial stability of a corporation.   • In-Depth Knowledge and experience of the Energy Sector: Demonstrated expertise in navigating and addressing challenges within the evolving energy landscape, with a nuanced perspective from both energy companies and large industrial clients.
  • New sales and account management experience: Drive the sales cycle and close deals in a demanding, but very rewarding international environment, specifically targeting energy intensive Commercial & Industrial (C&I) customers. Ability to consult customers and present tailored solutions. Build and nurture strong client relationships ensuring long-term client satisfaction and business growth.
  • Track and report on progress, proactively identify and resolve bottlenecks, and maintain clear communication with the team and management to ensure seamless execution.
  • Collaboration with Marketing: Partner closely with marketing teams to align on campaigns, develop impactful content, and implement targeted outreach strategies.

Your background:

  • Minimum 3 years experience and proven results in B2B software solution sales and/or in the B2B energy business. International experience considered as plus.
  • Know-how and in-depth knowledge of energy markets and energy-intensive industrial processes.
  • Good combination of creativity, project management, business analysis, and people management skills to craft sophisticated deals for large (global) companies.
  • Proven ability to plan, communicate, and gain stakeholder approval for significant investments in energy infrastructure. Experience related to investment calculations and asset funding structures.
  • Ability to articulate ideas on paper in a concise and attractive way for emails and proposals.
  • Ability to give presentations and pitches.
  • Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to conduct business in additional European languages, such as German, is considered a strong plus.
  • Enthusiasm for innovation within the zero-carbon energy ecosystem, coupled with solid business acumen.
  • Willingness to travel to meet customers in Finland and beyond.
