Howden Turbo main location is Frankenthal, Germany and it’s operation includes sites in Helsingor, Denmark and Espoo, Finland.For our location in Espoo, Finland, we are now looking for a self-motivated Sales Manager for Howden Turbo Fans business line. This position is a key role in our Sales Team and focusing mainly on the MVR (Mechanical vapor recompression) projects in various industrial segments. This position might be good fit for you if you feel comfortable working in a truly international environment with experience collaborating across different countries and cultures.What Your Day-to-Day Activities Will Be…
- We are looking for result driven and experienced sales professional to work with international process EPC’s and end users.
- You will have sales and business growth responsibility, and you will develop leads and projects for the assigned market area in Europe together with and Howden & Chart Industries Commercial Team and Howden local business units.
- You will take ownership in sales and marketing actions in given market area. Based on the customer requirements, you carry out the aerodynamic selection, negotiate with subcontractors and put together the specified solution package.
- You will be responsible for carrying on the full sales process according to corporate guidelines, from inquiry to order and after receiving the order, preparing the contract and handing it over to project management and engineering.
- This role involves regular travel to engage with our customers and visit manufacturers on-site.
- You will support budget planning and actively maintain sales reporting tools.
Your Education Should Be…
- Earlier working experience with rotating machinery (e.g. fans, compressors, electric motors etc.).
- Knowledge of MVR applications, evaporation, crystallization and heat pump processes are seen as a benefit.
- Several years of professional experience in sales, demonstrating a commercially savvy approach and experience working with international customers.
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (preferably mechanical / industrial engineering, energy or process engineering) or equivalent.
- Excellent business English communication skills, both written and verbal. Other language skills especially Finnish and/or other European languages would be seen as desirable.
- Good negotiation skills.
- You are willing to travel (average 1/month), mainly in Europe.
- You are confident in using common office applications and have basic knowledge of SAP/R3 and CRM.
- You have great interaction and negotiation skills, and team working skills.
- You are pro-active, self-driven and customer focused.
