Together with our team you will further develop the local sales business and customer satisfaction. As a Sales Manager 4 Stroke, you will be responsible for the 4 Stroke market in Norway and Sweden. It might later be extended to include also Finland and possibly the Baltics. Your primary responsibilities will include identifying opportunities at both Shipowners and Shipyards, as well as a sales support function for selected Norwegian customers.We can offer you the following challenges:
- Manage and coordinate business development activities for the 4 stroke marine customer base in your dedicated market.
- Build and maintain relationships with customers and partners. Be the preferred contact partner for customers and handle technical queries in the event of accidents and repairs or escalations. Attend tradeshows and seminars. Focus on continuous improvement of the sales process.
- Support the commercial negotiation of new sales proposals up to contract signature and provide proper support during project execution.
- Develop and implement marketing plans.
- Collect and communicate market intelligence, including competitor activities and project opportunities.
We think you should have the following skills / experiences:
- BSc. in Marine Engineering or Chief mechanic.
- Experience from marine business as well as a strong network within the marine industry, preferably within the 4-stroke medium speed engines.
- Proven experience in a sales management role.
- Ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
- Knowledge of CRM software.
- Excellent skills in areas such as communication, contract negotiation, terms and conditions design, legal implications of terms and conditions, and project management at the most senior level of customer.
- Entrepreneurial and analytical mindset combined with a high degree of customer satisfaction as well as intercultural skills and understanding.
- Ability to work in a team within a matrix organization.
- Available for business travel both domestic and abroad.
- Fluent in any Scandinavian language plus English Language – written & spoken.
