- SAP GTS Development & Optimization
- Design, customize, and optimize IT solutions for export control and global trade compliance
- Implement and support SAP GTS solutions, driving continuous improvement initiatives
- Compliance & Trade Regulations
- Ensure adherence to international trade regulations in IT projects and processes
- Monitor and integrate market trends and legal changes in foreign trade and export control
- System Conversions & Migrations
- Support and execute SAP S/4HANA migrations and SAP GTS enhancements
- Process Standardization
- Review, standardize, and optimize international trade processes and their IT system integration
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Partner with Export & Customs business teams to understand requirements and provide guidance
- Conduct workshops to analyze business needs, develop tailored solutions, and prepare documentation
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Logistics, Finance, and Intercompany teams for seamless process integration
- ITSM Support
- Provide IT Service Management (ITSM) support for SAP GTS and SAP MM, ensuring system stability
- External Coordination
- Manage and coordinate external service providers for the successful implementation of projects
- Continuous Improvement
- Identify optimization opportunities within SAP GTS for HANA and S/4HANA
- Stay updated on SAP GTS innovations and advise on new functionalities
- Project Delivery
- Participate in project execution, including:
- Requirements gathering
- Functional specification writing
- System configuration
- Testing
- Training delivery
Your qualifications:
- Educational Background
- Degree in Economics, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
- Professional Experience
- Several years of experience in SAP GTS, with hands-on delivery in end-to-end implementation projects
- Extensive SAP GTS implementation and application experience, especially in export control
- Strong expertise in SAP MM processes and ITSM support frameworks
- Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA systems and migration strategies
- Regulatory Knowledge
- Strong understanding of international export regulations and their SAP system implementation
- Expertise in export modules, preference calculation, and export control compliance in SAP GTS
- Skills & Competencies
- Excellent analytical skills to assess and optimize complex processes
- Strong project management abilities (planning, execution, and documentation)
- Fluent in English (German or other languages are a plus)
- Team-oriented, responsible, and independent working style
- Technical Expertise
- Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA, ITSM tools, and global trade compliance functionalities
- Strong knowledge of SAP GTS and SAP ERP integration points
