Job Description:The SAP MM / ARIBA Expert is a member of the SAP MM Domain that is part of the SAP Centre of Excellence of the IT department of ArcelorMittal Europe Long Products segment.The SAP Materials Management / ARIBA Expert mission will be:

• To manage the implementation of the ARIBA web supplier portal and new ERP MM functionalities in the Long Segment on a Project Management point of view but also on a technical point of view. He(she) will be practically responsible of the success of the transformation steps of the projects in charge, initial demand collection, books of requirements, eventual Request For Proposal, blueprint, realisation, cutover plan, training, go-live, project closure, project committees, steering committees, subcontractors management … A dedicated PMO tool will be used to ensure a best in class project management activity.
• To contribute to the strategy of the MM Domain, to participate each year to the 5 years plan including architecture concepts and to assess that the transformations handled are in phase with the current strategy.
• To manage a part of the run and maintain activity. The SAP MM / ARIBA expert will contribute to the incidents management and the progressive maintenance management in the domain.

All these activities must be handled in full compliance with the IT General Compliance rules and the SOx rules that are applied in the ArcelorMittal group.Profile:

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or similar
• Fluent in English and French, any other language would be an advantage
• Circa 8 years of experience in SAP MM / ARIBA customizing. ABAP skills are a plus.
• Deep Business processes knowledge of the MM activities :

• Sourcing.
• Order to Pay end to end scenario.
• Accounts Payable.
• eSupplier Portal (ARIBA).
• Inventory Management.
• IT/SAP Project Management knowledge.
• Independently able to provide solutions to complex business requirements.
• Should be well versed in hands on configuration of SAP-MM. SAP-WM skills could be a plus.
• Well versed in preparing technical documentations (Business Blueprint, Functional Specification, Configuration, Unit Test, User Training, UAT Documents etc.).
• Should be an excellent team player and be able to manage work for offshore resources towards project deliverables.
• Should have data migration and Cut over data experience.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
• Ability to use strong industry knowledge to relate to customer needs and dissolve customer concerns and high level of focus and attention to detail.
• Strong work ethic with good time management with ability to work with diverse teams and lead meetings

• Steel making knowledge

We consider ourselves as a real business partner in Long Products Europe.Our productions sites have a local IT team who support the localized services, the tools close to production and also enable a suitable field service support.Some of these local IT teams are very small (2 or 3 people); others, depending on the size of the site, can be medium teams with up to 8-10 people.In Long Products Europe we are supporting French, German, Polish, Romanian, Bosnian, Spanish and Polish speaking end-users and supplying IS/IT services to the main steel units of our segment up to the remote sales offices in Italy, Germany, UK etc…At segment level we work very close with the European CIO, the Corporate team and the Global IT Purchasing to ensure we make the most use of the knowledge we have in the group, our standards and global contracts, with the main aim to keep Long Products Europe fully aligned with the rest of the group in terms of IS/IT and benefit as much as possible from the synergies available in such a group, like ArcelorMittal.
