My Client, a growing and well known SME in Cork, is looking to recruit a Company Accountant on a permanent basis. The role works alongside the MD of the company and leads a small Finance team. Salary is dependent on the experience of the candidate and benefits can be negotiated on an individual basis.The Role:

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and file VAT, payroll taxes, and corporate taxes
• Maintain accurate records of accounts payable and receivable
• Reconcile bank accounts and perform month-end closings
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, policies, and legal requirements
• Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies
• Streamline accounting processes to improve efficiency.

Requirements:

• Fully Qualified Accountant – ACCA, ACA,CPA or CIMA
• 2 Years PQE in a similar role
• Practice experience applicable
• Experience with Accounting Packages essential
• The ability to meet strict deadlines in a timely and efficient manner
