Are you a Servant-Leader who can facilitate change and drive delivery? Are you someone that can work with small teams, and large programmes?If yes, we are looking for a Scrum Master to join our team in Gloucester, with hybrid working between home and office to suit your routine. This is a key role in our journey to build technologies across our Bespoke Platform and across the business, and you will be working within our Continuous Improvement Team and at Programme level, using the Scrum Framework.In this role, you will Scrum Master a team of Developers and Testers. Delivery is also key in this role, and you will be driving the Delivery process for the team, working alongside Product Owners, System Analysts, Infrastructure, Development and Testing teams, internally and with external suppliers.This is a fantastic opportunity to join a rapidly growing and forward-thinking business, giving you a real opportunity to develop your career and be part of a purpose led organisation.Key responsibilities

• Coach and implement Scrum Framework best practices
• Facilitate Scrum Events internally and with external suppliers
• Remove barriers between stakeholders and Scrum Teams
• Influence the removal of impediments and help the team to become self-organizing and empowered to create, innovate, and make decisions for themselves as one team

Share and Collaborate

• Coach and implement Scrum Framework best practices

• Facilitate Scrum Events internally and with external suppliers

• Remove barriers between stakeholders and Scrum Teams

• Influence the removal of impediments and help the team to become self-organizing and empowered to create, innovate, and make decisions for themselves as one team

• Work with our external suppliers to increase the knowledge and expertise of the team in order to enable the delivery of change to the business

• Participate in continuous improvement reviews through Sprint retrospectives. Identify and lead opportunities to improve current methods, practices and processes

• Working in collaboration with the wider systems development and system test teams to ensure successful completion and implementation of changes

• Able to balance the demands of coaching Team Agility, Scrum Best Practice and Empowerment with the need to drive outstanding and sustainable individual and team performance, results and outcomes.

• Support the Product Owner with Product Backlog management and driving adoption of Sprint Goal values

• Leading, training and coaching the team, the business and third-party suppliers in their Scrum adoption

Knowledge, skills and experience

• Detailed knowledge and experience of the Scrum Framework, with a track record working as a Certified Scrum Master

• Have a Servant Leadership mindset

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Experience in coaching and mentoring Scrum Teams and large Programmes

• Proven experience of working in an organisation going through cultural change aligned to the Agile Methodology

• Experience working in an IT Platform industry

• Experience working in Financial Services sector would be desirable
