The Sea Freight Forwarding Officer (d/f/m) will be responsible for the following task area:

• Coordinating the launch of new sea freight lanes from European countries
• Acting as the primary client contact during implementation, providing regular updates and proactive solutions
• Drafting, reviewing, and updating SOPs tailored to specific customer and lane requirements
• Managing first-level escalations and deviations, resolving issues efficiently
• Collaborating with internal teams, including operations and contract managers, to align goals and deliverables
• Monitoring KPIs to identify trends and opportunities for process improvement

• Apprenticeship in freight forwarding/logistics/Export/Import and first practical experience OR several years hands-on experience in freight forwarding preferably sea freight
• Experience in sea freight for Pharma and Healthcare clients is an advantage
• Experience with freight forwarding software and IT affinity; CargoWise experience is a big plus
• Hardworking team player with passion for this industry
• Fluent English, Flemish/Dutch is a huge plus, German is an advantage
