Our client, a top-tier Irish logistics provider, is on the lookout for a talented and proactive Sea Freight Coordinator to join their vibrant team in Dublin 17. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to be at the heart of sea freight operations, providing exceptional service to a broad range of clients while enjoying a supportive and dynamic work environment.Location: Dublin 17Work Schedule: 9am – 5.30pm (Mon – Fri)What’s on Offer:

Key Responsibilities:
- Managing shipment bookings for liner and forwarding operations.
- Overseeing the full shipment cycle-from booking to delivery and payment.
- Delivering exceptional customer service to internal teams and external clients.
- Negotiating with local and international vendors to secure the best rates and services.
- Organizing transport arrangements for collections and deliveries.
- Handling sales and purchase invoices, resolving queries as they arise.
- Preparing rate quotations and responding to rate requests.
- Navigating customs clearance processes, including SADs and related requirements.
- Driving the development of sea freight services and overseeing vessel attendance.
- Providing operational holiday cover and administrative support across freight departments as needed.
- Engaging in occasional client visits and taking part in special projects.
The Ideal Candidate:
- 2 – 3 years of experience in sea freight operations.
- Proficient in MS Office and freight management systems. (CargoWise would be a distinct advantage but not essential)
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Fluent in English, with strong communication skills.
