If you possess a proven track record of developing robust embedded system solutions and are driven by the challenge of safeguarding cutting-edge hardware, we hope to hear from you.In this role, you will be the security authority at the heart of product development. You’ll work hand-in-hand with our hardware, firmware, and design engineers to embed critical security requirements into our most exciting new innovations.What You will do

• Collaborate with our design, firmware, and hardware teams to set security requirements for components and firmware based on desired product features.
• Develop testing plans and leverage debugging tools to identify security flaws in hardware, including testing of prototype devices.
• Review vendor certifications and participate in hardware vendor risk assessments in collaboration with our sourcing team.
• Provide expertise on best practices for design and implementation of security features on embedded systems and be the go-to person for hardware security in general.

We would love to have You on our team if:You have experience in hardware and working with hardware design teams

• You know your way around hardware debuggers.
• You have experience with secure storage features in hardware.
• You understand how wireless communications (Bluetooth, NFC) work.
• You understand digital signatures and their hardware requirements.
• You are familiar with component selection and vendor evaluation.
• You are comfortable leading threat modeling sessions for hardware.

You understand hardware design and requirement setting

• You can translate product functionality into tangible security requirements for components as well as firmware features.
• You are comfortable reviewing hardware designs and schematics.

In addition to hardware knowledge, you understand the design principles for firmware on resource constrained embedded systems

• You have some skills in C and Python and know-how on memory safety, efficient software design, and experience with hardware drivers.

You are familiar with security testing tools commonly used in embedded systems:

• You have some experience with fuzzers and code sanitizers

You have working proficiency in the English language.Benefits
