As Security Officer you will work from our Alarm Response Centre in Bagsværd together with your new colleagues. The job tasks include:

• Handling various alarm systems following correct protocols and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
• Monitoring different types of alarms such as intrusion detection, fire detection and personal safety.
• Alarm Patrol dispatch
• Ad hoc Security tasks for stakeholders across Novo Nordisk

Several of these tasks include both written and oral communication in Danish as well as in English.You will also be offered the opportunity to be part of a responsibility group working on various projects and tasks to optimize our Security work processes.The Alarm Response Centre is vigilantly monitoring Novo Nordisk 24/7. The workplan is in eight-hour shifts including work in three out of five weekends on average.Qualifications
To qualify for this position, we imagine that you have the following qualifications:

• Training as a guard or the equivalent within the security industry (Danish AMU course or similar)
• Experienced user of alarm systems
• Fluent in both written and spoken English and Danish
• You have a driver’s license for a standard motor vehicle
• Documentation for no criminal record is required
• Solid experience with the Office Package.

Moreover, it is an advantage if you have:

• Additional security training or experience
• Experience from the medical industry
• Experience with GXP
• Experience working in several different IT tools, and optimizing for AI solutions.

As a person you can work independently as well as in teams, and you are comfortable with great responsibility. You enjoy adapting to change and you thrive with new systems, procedures and learning.You are service-minded and polite when meeting both our internal employees and external guests, and you are grounded and able to stay calm under pressure.About the department
We are a team of 28 at The Novo Nordisk Alarm Response Centre and ARC Support Team. We monitor Novo Nordisk Denmark and we carry out on site security tasks at Novo Nordisk sites throughout greater Copenhagen.Our Alarm Response Centre is the global hub for all Novo Nordisk crisis handling, and you can expect a busy and versatile workday.
