Join our Global Security Operations Center (SOC/CERT) team and help us protect Telia against evolving cyber threats.We are at the frontline of cybersecurity operations, working across Nordics and Baltics, and are now looking for a new colleague to join our team in Stockholm or Helsinki or Oslo. Our mission is to prevent, detect, and respond to cybersecurity incidents, continuously improving Telia’s resilience against cyber threats.As a Security Specialist…You will take the lead in handling cybersecurity incidents, conducting threat hunts, and performing digital forensic investigations. Your role will involve coordinating response actions, working closely with security analysts and stakeholders to mitigate risks and improve overall security posture. You will also analyze threat intelligence, provide input to security engineering teams for improving detection capabilities, and contribute to the continuous development of security tools and processes.You will collaborate with a broad range of internal stakeholders, ensuring security processes and routines are effective and continuously improved. Your ability to work under pressure, solve complex security challenges, and proactively identify threats will be key to success in this role. Additionally, you will be part of an on-call duty rotation, responding to critical security incidents as needed.Who We’re Looking ForWe are looking for a skilled cybersecurity professional with a strong technical background in incident response, digital forensics, and threat intelligence. You should have deep knowledge of both Windows and Linux operating systems, along with a solid understanding of network protocols, including TCP/IP, HTTP(S), DNS, and routing. Hands-on experience with security tools such as SIEM, NDR, EDR, and IDS/IPS is essential, as well as experience conducting forensic analysis of endpoint and network artifacts. Familiarity with scripting and programming to automate security processes is highly valuable, and an understanding of public cloud security is an advantage.In addition to your technical expertise, you should have strong problem-solving skills, a solution-oriented mindset, and the ability to work well under pressure. You are comfortable leading and coordinating incident response activities while engaging with different stakeholders across the organization.
