If so, keep on reading.As we continue to expand our presence in the Finnish and Nordic M&A market, we are seeking finance and M&A professionals to join our M&A Transaction Services team as a Senior Analyst.The RoleOur M&A Transaction Services team provides buy and sell-side advisory services, focusing on financial aspects of acquisitions and divestitures. We support clients throughout the entire transaction process, with financial due diligence being our flagship service among other M&A offerings. Our professionals engage in a diverse range of M&A services, considering tax, legal, ICT, HR, and ESG factors.As a Senior Analyst in our Transaction Services team, you will have a unique opportunity to:
- Work with Finnish companies, global corporations, and private equity clients from various fields.
- Analyse target companies’ operations and financial performance as part of the project team to deliver clear advice impacting transaction focus areas and key terms, such as purchase price, to our client.
- Work in a project team, guiding and supporting junior colleagues and assuming responsibility for specific areas/sections of the project.
QualificationsWe believe you will succeed in this position if you have approximately 2-4 years of relevant experience, preferably in M&A / Financial Due Diligence. Alternatively, you might have a background in audit or finance, such as working as a Controller. Understanding operative processes and their financial implications is essential to your expertise and you have a genuine interest in sharing and growing your knowledge in M&A transaction services.Additionally, to succeed in this role you:
- have a master’s degree in a relevant field e.g., business, finance, accounting, or a related field.
- communicate fluently in English; Finnish language skills are an advantage.
- have solid skills in MS Office, especially Excel. Ability to and eagerness in applying analytical tools and technology (e.g. Knime/Alteryx, Tableau, other data visualisation or AI tools) are an advantage.
- have a strong interest in understanding and analysing financial results.
- are a team player with great communication and organisational skills.
Interest towards building sector expertise in technology, private equity, financial services or energy, resources & industrials industries is seen as an advantage.You will fit well in our team if you enjoy a dynamic environment and prioritise exceeding client expectations.
