Digital Customer Channels EngineeringTo meet Vestas’ growth targets, a significant change is needed in how we operate, with a focus on digitalization. The Digital Customer Channels & Experience team in Digital Solutions manages digital products for Vestas’ customers and supports internal product teams. We are establishing internal digital product teams to design, build, and improve our digital products using a product-led approach. We seek a qualified Java backend developer to collaborate closely with the rest of the product team to deliver a state of the art User Management platform.Responsibilities

• Develop scalable and secure Java-based applications
• Design and implement backend components and APIs
• Integrate data storage solutions and ensure data consistency
• Optimize application performance and scalability
• Implement security protocols and data protection measures
• Write clean and maintainable code following best practices
• Collaborate with front-end developers and other team members

Qualifications

• A Bachelors or Master degree in computer science, IT, or relevant along with proficiency in Java with several years of backend development experience
• Scalable & Secure Development: Develop robust, scalable, and secure Java-based applications, ensuring long-term system stability
• API & Backend Design: Architect and implement backend components and RESTful APIs, ensuring seamless integration with front-end systems
• Data Management & Consistency: Integrate and manage data storage solutions while ensuring data consistency and reliability
• Performance Optimization: Continuously optimize application performance for scalability and efficiency, addressing potential bottlenecks
• Security & Best Practices: Implement security protocols, follow data protection measures, and write clean, maintainable code adhering to industry best practices
