:We have a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious Building Services Engineer to join our growing team in Dublin. With excellent people skills, you have a proven ability to work in partnership at all levels. The role will focus on projects in the Pharmaceutical sector.With high levels of commitment, your responsibilities will include acting as a Lead Engineer especially at the initial stages of projects delivering high valued input to our cutting edge designs. A key part of your role will be to support and mentor your team-members.Who we arePM Group is a leading International engineering, architecture, project and construction management firm. • Design, Manage and Coordinate production of all Building Services systems, including HVAC, Utilities, Plumbing and Fire Protection for large scale projects.
• Lead the design from concept to handover
• Act as a SME and further develop PM Group’s design capability
• Attend design team meetings
• Conduct onsite inspections
• Develop and guide team working under your supervision
• Liaise and interact with the wider project team including designers, client and contractor
• Ensure that designs are in accordance with applicable codes and standards, e.g. Irish Building Regulations, CIBSE Design Guides, British Standards and Health & Safety Regulations

:Qualifications

• 10+ years’ experience in the design of Building Services systems, preferably in a consultancy environment in the pharmaceutical or allied sectors
• Competent in design software such as Fluid Flow or Pipe-Flo.
• Honours degree (NFQ Level 8 for Ireland) preferably in Building Services or Mechanical engineering.
• Experience of working in a collaborative BIM environment
• Chartered Engineer preferred
