About the positionWould you like to work in what might be Norway’s most pleasant internal medicine department?Nestled between fjord and mountain in a brand-new hospital at Hjelset (Sykehuset Nordmøre og Romsdal – SNR), just 15 minutes from Molde city center, we are seeking a specialist in nephrology for a permanent position.In April 2025, the hospitals in Kristiansund and Molde will merge into Sjukehuset Nordmøre og Romsdal (SNR) at Hjelset. This merger will combine two medical departments with strong professional traditions, a high focus on education, and an exceptionally good working environment. We have specialists in all internal medicine fields and aim to have residents (LIS3) in training in every specialty in the near future. In total, the department will consist of over 55 residents and physicians.The department features specialized inpatient wards and discipline-specific outpatient clinics, including a dialysis unit at SNR Hjelset and a satellite unit at the SNR day facility in Kristiansund. We aspire to become one of Norway’s most forward-thinking and best internal medicine departments-both professionally and socially. Currently, we have one nephrologist in a full-time position, one in a 20% position, and one LIS3 in nephrology, with plans to add another LIS3 during 2025. To further strengthen our professional environment and educational capacity, we are looking for an additional nephrologist to join our team!As a consultant in nephrology with us, you will work in inpatient care, handle internal medicine on-call duties, oversee the dialysis service, and manage outpatient clinics. Qualifications

• Norwegian authorization as a physician
• Specialist in nephrology
• Must be proficient in a Scandinavian language, both written and spoken
