Then you could be the one we are looking for.The jobWe are looking for a senior developer to join one of our development teams, where we develop and run a complex solution to our customers in the life & pension market that support their business in Denmark.The teamThe team consists of developers, mathematicians, a product owner, and supported by a development manager and a business line manager. We work in an informal but professional and ambitious environment with very skilled colleagues with different backgrounds and have an atmosphere characterized by helping each other (both in the team and across teams), openness, positive energy, and a good sense of humor.The productACTULUS is Edlund’s next-generation platform for the calculation of market values and cash flows in life insurance. It covers calculations for each individual policy as well as simulations of a whole life & pension company.
ACTULUS is the product of a collaboration with the University of Copenhagen and the IT University of Copenhagen.
ACTULUS is designed for the cloud and is running on Microsoft Azure.Your primary tasks and responsibilitiesAs our new developer you will need to build a good business understanding of our components, and you must have the ability to translate complex problems into great solutions. You will be part of a team, whose tasks consist of:

• Implement complex mathematical calculations in a distributed environment
• Software development and maintenance in a Scrum setup with a strong focus on automated testing
• Performance optimization
• Close collaboration with cloud infrastructure team
• Code reviews

QualificationsYou have a relevant degree within computer science or similar and at least 5 years of relevant work experience. We are looking for a full stack developer with most of the following qualifications:

• .NET (C#) development
• Experience with cloud technologies and principles
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• An analytical mind and great attention to detail
• Curious, ambitious and have a can-do attitude
• A positive mindset
• Proficient in written and spoken Danish and English
