Relocation assistance is available for eligible candidates and their families, if needed.Join our team at Bioatrium now!What you’ll do:Plan and run operational activities in Upstream or Downstream Processing, including tech transfer support, material planning, document and batch record preparation, training, and deviation handlingAct as a functional lead for an interdisciplinary team of operators, supervisors, and specialists, ensuring smooth execution and high performance in assigned areasGuide and support daily operations for commercial manufacturing in defined USP areas (e.g. seed train, bioreactor, harvest) or DSP areas (e.g. bring together, purification, filling)Ensure efficient operation of single-use or stainless-steel bioreactors and purification equipment for therapeutic protein productionMaintain compliance with GMP and safety standardsWhat we’re looking for:Degree or equivalent experience (Bachelor, Master, PhD) in Biotechnology, Biochemical Engineering, Biochemistry or related life science field5+ years of hands-on experience in Upstream and/or Downstream manufacturing in the biopharma industrySolid knowledge of USP (mammalian cell culture, bioreactors) and/or DSP (chromatography, TFF, filtration, filling) techniquesStrong understanding of GMP regulations and production documentationExcellent communication skills in English; German is a plusTeam-oriented mentality with an organized, dedicated approachOpen to learning and continuous improvementOpen-minded for new insights and suggestionsEvery day, Lonza’s products and services have a positive impact on millions of people.
