Senior Electrical Critical Systems Engineer – DublinWe are currently looking for a highly skilled and client-oriented Senior Electrical Engineer to strengthen our clients critical systems team in Dublin. This pivotal role is situated within a prestigious multi-disciplinary consultancy renowned for its innovative approach. The selected candidate will have the unique opportunity to spearhead electrical design initiatives for internationally recognised data centre projects, working alongside some of the brightest minds in the industry. The role promises not only leadership but also the chance to manage projects that are both technically challenging and financially rewarding, from their initial conception through to their successful completion.The Role

• Lead and drive the electrical design process, ensuring the creation and delivery of high-quality design documents and deliverables.
• Effectively manage and mentor a dedicated team of engineers, while closely monitoring project budgets and timelines to ensure all targets are met or exceeded.
• Guarantee efficient and seamless communication across all levels of the project team as well as with client representatives, facilitating a smooth operational flow and timely resolution of issues.
• Motivate and lead by example, cultivating a supportive and cooperative work atmosphere that encourages team cohesion and innovation.

The Skills

• Electrical Engineering Degree or Chartered Engineer Status (CEng): This qualification is crucial as it provides a deep understanding of complex electrical systems, which is essential in the high-stakes environment of data centres.
• Detailed Co-ordination Experience: Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with various design disciplines to optimise project delivery is required.
• Expertise in Electrical Design Software: Proficiency in using advanced design software is vital for executing detailed schematics, conducting fault studies, and pushing forward the detailed design process.
• Client Communication: Possessing superior communication skills is imperative for managing client expectations and successfully navigating through the challenges that arise during project execution.
