My Client are a leading Engineering Consultancy who are seeking a strong Senior Electrical Design Engineer to manage and undertake design work and technical project co-ordination in Cork.The successful Electrical Engineer will be a part of a busy team providing design and technical services on various project types, including but not limited to Data Centre, Healthcare & Commercial developments.Responsibilities:

• Project Planning and Management.
• Preparation of design and contract documentation and specifications.
• Design of systems including but not limited to maximum demand calculations, cable sizing, lighting, emergency lighting, fire alarm systems, ICT systems, security systems and vertical transport.
• Coordination of work and collaboration with all members of design teams.
• Estimating and Cost Control on projects.
• Compiling project reports.
• Conceptual design studies and reports.
• Mentoring and development of junior and intermediate engineers in the group.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Degree in Electrical Services engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• 6+ years post-qualification design experience.
• Chartered Engineer or enroute to achieving chartership.
• Experience in a wide range of projects. Experience in mission critical projects a distinct advantage.
• Technically excellent with in-depth knowledge of relevant standards and regulations.
• Ability to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Highly motivated, proactive and willing to take on new challenges.

Benefits:

• €65,000 to €75,000 – Dependent on Experience
