To enable faster grid connections and even more resilient energy systems based on renewable energy, we are looking for a High Voltage Engineer to join our team. We are a team of 80 specialists, working alongside our global customers on some of the most significant and prestigious projects within connection of renewable energy to the grid. Our broad expertise enables multidisciplinary collaboration in green hydrogen, e-fuels, biomass & waste to energy, pyrolysis, and similar processes. You will join more than 50 motivated colleagues specialised in energy production, carbon capture and power systems, working alongside our customers on some of the world’s most significant green fuels & carbon capture projects. As our new Electrical Engineer, you will be involved in a wide range of consulting services related to e.g., grid connection to the transmission grid, steam turbine generators, HV-, MV- and LV-distribution, emergency generators, Uninterruptible Power Systems, cable systems, signal handling and control systems.You will have ample opportunities to unfold your passion for HV-, MV-, LV technologies etc., as your typical workday would entail:

  • Grid connection and connection conditions/requirements
  • Electrical concept design of transmission and distribution
  • HV and LV Transformers
  • HV/MV/LV plants and electrical transmission and distribution systems
  • Switchgears and cables
  • Electrical machinery including motors and generators
  • Frequency converters and rectifiers for electrolysis systems
  • Engineering and preparing technical reports and tender material
  • Engineering coordination’s with other disciplines.

You thrive woking with complex and technically challenging tasks.We would be very excited to hear from candidates who resembles the following:

  • A degree in engineering e.g., High Voltage, Energy engineer Bsc or Msc (Stærkstrømsingeniør), electrical engineer (El-installatør)
  • 8 years of experience in a similar role
  • Detailed knowledge about electrical systems and components e.g., switchgear equipment, relay protections, transformers, rotating machines, HV, MV- and LV transmission and distribution
  • Experience in PowerFactory is an advantage, but not a requirement
  • Professional proficiency in English, verbal as well as written
  • Fluent in Danish – verbal as well as written.
