If you find this position interesting, don’t hesitate to apply!Duties and responsibilitiesAre you enthusiastic about engineering and curios about shipbuilding?Join us and you will play an important role in the development of machinery systems within Vard. In this role, you will work and collaborate both with the Machinery team and cross-functional teams to design complex ships of tomorrow.

• Equipment integration – connecting and coordinating various machinery equipment
• Design of ship and machinery systems
• Communicate with internal teams, clients, and suppliers to ensure clear understanding of project requirements
• Involvement in department improvements and process development
• Project coordination and/or execution

Qualifications

• Bsc or Msc Ship Design / Mechanical Engineer
• Knowledge in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
• Good knowledge in English language, both oral and written
• General interest in technology and design

• At least 4-5 years of relevant work experience
• Experienced in rules and regulations related to ship design and ship building
