We are primarily looking for someone that will work out from our Fornebu office just outside Oslo. Other locations in Norway may be relevant for the right candidate.You will join a multidisciplinary team of highly skilled experts in technical safety, environmental studies, risk analysis, and flow/thermal modeling.If you like the idea of having the ability to make an impact, keep reading!What will you be doing?

• Perform various types of environmental studies and scopes, including but not limited to:

• Identify environmental requirements and establish environmental design basis
• ENVID (environmental impact identification)
• BAT assessment (best available techniques)
• Provide input to permitting processes and environmental impact assessments
• Establish environmental budgets and waste management plans
• LCA (life cycle assessment), GHG emission calculations, and carbon footprint assessments
• ESG (environmental, social and governance)
• Other HSE in Design activities (technical safety, working environment, review facilitation, regulatory compliance, etc.

• Work on studies and projects across all engineering project phases, from Feasibility/Concept to Detail Engineering and Operation/Modification.
• Work with CCUS (carbon capture storage and utilization), hydrogen, ammonia, low-carbon oil and gas, offshore wind, aquaculture, synthetic fuel production, and more.
• Be part of shaping the future of environmental services in Entr.
• Work as an integrated member in a larger multi-disciplinary team in Entr / Aker Solutions, or on work on smaller studies performed directly for the Client.
• Prepare input to tenders and participate in internal and external activities to promote our services.
• Act as discipline lead and/or project manager in smaller projects.
• Contribute to innovation and development activities.
• Work in a multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural environment.

We think you should have:

• Bachelor/Master degree (or higher) within environmental engineering or sciences within relevant fields.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with technologies and processes related to one or more of the following: Offshore wind, aquaculture, CCUS, ammonia, hydrogen, synthetic fuels, or oil and gas. Experience from building industry, civil, infrastructure and/or construction is an advantage.
• A will and ability to learn new skills and acquire new knowledge, and to share your knowledge and experience with others.
• The ability and self-drive to stay up to date on relevant methods and regulatory developments important for your area of work.
• Ability to work structured, have strong work ethics, and be a positive contribution to our office environment.
• Good understanding of relevant regulatory requirements and standards is an advantage.
• Project management experience is an advantage.
• Experience with GIS (geographic information systems) is an advantage.
• Fluent in English, both written and oral. Norwegian/Scandinavian language skills is an advantage.
