As an Experienced Mechanical Engineer you will work to identify, select, and follow up the mechanical solutions in our designs and work in different project phases and be a key in our exciting and growing portfolio.About the positionIn this position, you can hold various roles within the Mechanical discipline. Be responsible for deliveries in the projects and work closely with other disciplines to achieve the project’s goals.We are looking for those with proven experience of rotating or static equipment, as well as valve experts.Responsibilities and tasks include

• PRE (Package Responsible Engineer) for mechanical equipment
• Be responsible for rotating equipment
• Evaluating offers from suppliers
• Follow up on packages
• Inspection and FAT
• Keep updated on rules and regulations
• Maintain supplier interaction

Qualifications

• Bachelor/master’s degree in within mechanical engineering or equivalent
• Proven experience within mechanical engineering
• Experience with mechanical engineering in modification projects on the Norwegian continental shelf is an advantage
• Experience as PRE (Package Responsible Engineer) for mechanical equipment
• In depth knowledge in technical requirements from Equinor and other customers
• Ability to understand and implement requirements stated in new standards

Personal qualities

• Fluent communication skills in English, Norwegian skills is an advantage
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Have the ability to develop within untraditional conceptual thinking and challenging established truth
• High level of personal efficiency and ability to manage work situations to produce required deliverables
