As Regional Hub Manager for North and Central Europe, you will be instrumental in ensuring operational excellence, regional alignment and compliance across diverse regulatory environments. You will be responsible for ensuring financial operations across the region are well-managed, compliant, and aligned with both group standards and local regulations.Your key responsibilities will include:Proactively securing accurate and timely completion of financial statements, according to IFRS and local accounting regulations, for all legal entities within the hubEnd-to-end accountability for statutory, tax, and customs audits across all countries in the regionLeading and supporting a team of finance professionals, including senior accountants and accounting managersSecuring implementation and execution of ICFROverseeing local task execution in each entity and the service delivery from our Shared Service CenterDriving continuous improvement by sharing best practices, improving accuracy, and enhancing overall efficiencyActing as a business partner for key regional stakeholders, ensuring strong cross-functional collaborationIdentifying areas for improvement within teams and leveraging strengths for optimized performanceAssigning responsibilities, providing guidance and support, and conducting performance evaluationsPromoting knowledge-sharing and collaboration within the regional hub and across teamsEvaluating risk and impact of changes in tax laws, recommending mitigation strategiesApplying effective tax strategies in alignment with global tax guidelines to optimize cash flowChampioning digital tools and new ways of working, in alignment with H&M’s transformation strategyWHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
You will collaborate with various stakeholders within the regional hub, including accounting teams, regional stakeholders, and the shared service center. You will also act as a business partner for regional stakeholders, ensuring cross-functional collaboration. In addition, you will work closely with the central Finance & Accounting team and with the other Regional Hub Managers.You will report directly to the Head of Finance and Accounting.QualificationsWHO YOU ARE
You are a strong and collaborative leader who thrives in complex, cross-cultural environments. You combine strategic thinking with operational excellence and lead with clarity, empathy, and accountability. You bring:A minimum of 10 years of experience in accounting and auditA proven ability to lead finance teams in a regional or global contextExcellent stakeholder management skills with a focus on finding solutionsHands-on experience with statutory audits, local compliance, and internal controlsStrong knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and local accounting regulations across multiple European countriesA solid grasp of internal control and risk frameworks (ICFR)A relevant university degree in finance or accounting (master’s degree preferred)Strong English skills (spoken and written); additional European languages are a plusExperience with tools such as SAP and Trintech Cadency is an advantageAnd you are:A confident communicator who can lead conversations with both internal and external stakeholdersStrategic and analytical, with a clear understanding of business and compliance needsA natural leader with high emotional intelligence, who builds trust and drives engagementComfortable in fast-changing environments and committed to continuous improvementAdditional InformationThis is a full-time position, preferably based in Stockholm, but we are open to candidates located in any of the countries within the regional HUB.
