Excellent opportunity for an experienced Finance professional to join a leading MNC in North Dublin as a Senior Finance Manager.As the successful applicant you will be responsible for managing accounting function of the organisation, including financial reporting and internal controls. You will also oversee all accounting operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, implementing best in class practices, and optimising processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the accounting function including financial reporting, and internal controls.
• Manage the day-to-day operations of the accounting department
• Own the responsibility for assigned accounting workflows/processes within the financial close process.
• Provide strong leadership and guidance to the accounting team
• Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial reports
• Develop and implement internal control procedures
• Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and enhance efficiency
• Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and filings, working closely with tax advisors
• Recruit, train, and develop a team of accountants
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including senior management, department heads, and external partners.

Requirements:

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified accountant with 7+ years PQE
• Proven experience in leading and developing a finance team
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and internal controls.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience in managing and developing a team.
