Job Description:About your roleWe are seeking an energetic and proactive Senior Finance Specialist with a development mindset to join Orion’s Group Finance and Controlling department. Our department is responsible for providing financial reporting and statutory compliance for Orion Group and its 44 subsidiaries as well as finance support to Orion management and business. We have a modern financial system architecture which is based on extensive use of SAP S/4 Hana products.This position is part of the team that takes care of accounts payable, travel expenses and payments.Your key responsibilities

  • Overseeing the end-to-end invoice-to-pay process, ensuring full compliance with Orion’s internal policies and applicable tax regulations
  • Acting as a key user for the accounts payable and VIM invoice processing system
  • Providing guidance, training, and hands-on support to end-users across the organization
  • Collaborating closely with the Finance and Purchase-to-Pay teams to drive continuous improvement in processes and systems
  • Performing daily operational checks and validations to ensure accuracy and efficiency in accounts payable operations
  • Actively identifying and implementing development opportunities to enhance automation, compliance, and service quality

  • Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) or equivalent
  • Solid understanding of finance processes and invoice processing systems, ideally gained in an international business environment
  • At least five years of relevant experience, with strong expertise in accounts payable and purchase-to-pay (P2P) processes
  • Hands-on experience with modern ERP systems, such as SAP and preferably SAP S/4HANA
  • Fluency in both Finnish and English, written and spoken
  • Ability to work under pressure in a structured and collaborative manner
  • Proactive and solution-oriented mindset with a passion for process development
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to support and train end-users effectively
