Are you a skilled and experienced Frontend Developer ready to shape the future of online retail? This key role offers a fantastic opportunity to develop robust, high-performance web applications for well-known brands like Bilka, Føtex, and BR. If you’re passionate about elegant code, excellent architecture, and working in a collaborative team, we’d love to hear from you!You’ll join our dedicated development team, where you’ll lead technical initiatives, mentor colleagues, and make a significant contribution to the architecture and performance of our main digital products within a leading Danish retail organization. This role is about making key contributions to our frontend landscape, using a modern tech stack and agile ways of working.Responsibilities:
As a Senior Frontend Developer, your main responsibilities will include:

• Technical Leadership & Development: Leading the design, development, and deployment of complex, scalable frontend solutions. While our core stack is React, Next.js, and Tailwind CSS, strong fundamental programming skills are most important. This involves both hands-on coding and strategic planning.
• Architectural Contributions: Actively enhancing our frontend architecture, we promote best practices, design patterns, and modern technologies to ensure our applications are maintainable, high-performing, and scalable for future scalability.
• Mentorship & Code Quality: Helping the team grow by giving constructive feedback in code reviews, mentoring less experienced developers, and promoting high standards for clean, efficient code and thorough testing.
• Performance & UX Optimization: Continuously improving the performance, accessibility, and overall user experience of our enterprise e-commerce and marketing platforms.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Working seamlessly with UX & Design, Product Owners, Project Managers, and Backend Developers to build intuitive user interfaces and translate business needs into precise technical specifications.
• Agile Adherence: Fully participating in our Scrum workflow, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, refinements, and retrospectives. We use Jira for efficient project management and to keep us on track.

Qualifications:
We’re looking for someone with exceptional technical expertise who also lives our core leadership behaviors:

• Functional Expertise:

o Professional experience in frontend development, with expert-level proficiency in JavaScript/Typescript.
o A solid understanding of HTML5 and CSS3, with practical experience in modern CSS frameworks (e.g., Tailwind CSS, SCSS).
o Proven experience with a modern JavaScript framework (e.g., React, Vue, Angular) is essential; experience with React and Next.js is a big plus.
o Demonstrated experience in optimizing web application performance, accessibility, and SEO.
o Comfortable with GitHub for version control and collaborative design tools like Figma.
o Experience with deployment platforms, ideally Vercel, and a basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
o A good understanding of software design principles, clean code, and testing strategies.
