With operations spanning 28+ countries, ensuring smooth and compliant global mobility and immigration is more important than ever. Our team oversees all aspects of international mobility at Wolt, including international assignments, remote work requests, supporting expansion into new countries, and immigration throughout the employment lifecycle. That’s where you come in.As part of our global mobility team, you’ll own immigration-related initiatives and selected mobility programs, manage cases, and contribute to strategic initiatives. In this role, you’ll ensure that we’re meeting business needs while providing an exceptional experience for our employees. You’ll need to be comfortable rolling up your sleeves to get things done across all corners of Wolt and collaborating with key internal and external stakeholders. We’re looking for someone who can think big but isn’t afraid to dive into the details.What you’ll be doing
- Managing complex mobility and immigration cases: Be the go-to person for immigration-only cases and a mix of mobility cases. Partner with teams to plan setups, resolve escalations, and ensure an excellent employee experience.
- Owning programs: Take charge of immigration programs and selected mobility programs (like our permanent transfer program) end-to-end and lead related development initiatives. You’ll align these with our global goals, cross functional stakeholders and overall company strategy.
- Improving processes: Streamline how we work by introducing tools, templates, and systems that make our day-to-day work more efficient and scalable. You drive these improvement projects independently and with high quality of output while diagnosing improvement areas for us going forward.
- Ensuring compliance: Stay ahead of immigration regulations, proactively identify risks, address them, and work with vendors to ensure regulatory alignment.
- Collaborating cross-functionally: Partner with cross functional stakeholders like Talent Acquisition, HR, Legal, Finance, Payroll, Equity and other teams to ensure mobility initiatives are well-integrated across the business. Collaborate with business and leaders to align mobility initiatives with our overarching business strategy.
- Driving projects: Lead or contribute to mobility and immigration projects, like vendor onboarding, policy launches, or expansion efforts. These projects will help Wolt scale and operate more effectively.
- Thinking ahead: Proactively identify new needs or opportunities, and take ownership of defining and executing solutions. You’ll balance data, requirements, and common sense to make sound decisions. In this role, you’ll not only drive key initiatives but also contribute to shaping Wolt’s long-term mobility strategy, ensuring our approach remains ahead of the curve.
- Mentoring others: Share your expertise with team members and cross-functional colleagues, helping them navigate the complexities of immigration and global mobility.
Our humble expectationsExperience:
- 4-6 years in immigration, global mobility, or a related field.
- You’ve worked in multinational, fast-paced environments and know how to navigate complexity with ease.
Skills we’re looking for:
- Deep understanding of global immigration
- Expertise in holistic global mobility landscape including case management, tax, expat payroll, social security
- Strong project management skills, with a proven ability to structure and and drive projects/programs
- Strong problem-solving skills and a knack for driving projects forward in a structured way.
- Exceptional organizational and prioritization skills – you know how to keep things moving, even when it’s hectic.
- Amazing communication skills. You can break down complex topics into simple terms and build trust with stakeholders. You are a confident and kind communicator with excellent English skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret ambiguous data and align solutions with business goals.
- A proactive mindset. You’re not afraid to take initiative, ask questions, or suggest new ways of working.
