You will be based in our office in Vantaa working closely primarily with local support office senior leaders, supported by an HR specialist and the Head of P&O for Norway & Finland (based in Oslo).Your roleIn close collaboration with Head of P&O and local senior leaders you will be responsible for locally driving and executing our people strategy, plans and processes as well as ensuring first-class HR service and support to the business.Your responsibilities will include:

  • Driving HR agenda locally, securing country needs as well as implementing global and regional priorities.
  • Ensuring that all core HR processes are executed and deployed in a professional manner including but not limited to recruitment, onboarding and offboarding, compensation and benefits, health & safety, engagement surveys, performance and change management etc.
  • Coaching and supporting our managers to drive employee engagement and foster a positive workplace culture.
  • Acting as an advisor and day to day support for our managers and providing them with necessary tools to succeed as leaders.
  • Managing employee relations and providing guidance on legislation, HR policies and procedures.
  • Managing payroll (outsourced), benefits, contracts, people data and handbooks, supported by an HR specialist.
  • Implementing and maintaining HR policies and procedures making sure they align with company objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Supporting the implementation of global, regional or local HR projects and initiatives.
  • When needed providing extra HR support to our store partners.
  • Driving continuous improvement in HR practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Your qualifications
The right candidate is a great team-player who brings a positive can-do attitude and is a contributor to a great working environment. In this role, it is crucial that you are self-driven with the ability to prioritize and deliver results effectively, also through others. To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A solid HR background with relevant education and a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a HRBP role, preferably in a retail or customer-focused environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Finnish labour laws and HR best practices.
  • Experience in working with senior managers in an HR capacity.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to build strong relationships and influence at different levels of the organization.
  • A proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Fluency in Finnish and English.
  • Experience with payroll and working in an international matrix organization is an advantage.

Your developmentWithin 3 months, you’ll:

  • Be onboarded into our ways of working and culture
  • Get to know your key stakeholders and build network and relationships with your colleagues
  • Gain understanding of our business and P&O contribution
  • Support implementation of People initiatives and tasks

Within 6-12 months, you’ll:

  • Run key People processes locally
  • Understand the strategic goals of the business and be able to align People initiatives to support those goals
  • Can be the go-to-person for People related topics and provide professional guidance to managers and colleagues
  • Deliver impactful HR solutions that drive employee engagement and organisational success.
