The SNCT, the national benchmark in the field of automotive technical inspection in Luxembourg, with a market share of around 75%, currently carries out almost 300,000 vehicle inspections per year.As part of the modernisation of our activities, we are looking to strengthen our IT department by recruiting a:SENIOR IT COORDINATORAs an IT expert with a focus on database systems and application development, you will contribute to the implementation of IT projects in response to internal needs, from identifying requirements to drawing up specifications and installing the chosen solutions, while mobilising and planning in the necessary resources. You will liaise with external service providers and all staff, playing an active role in the various IT projects within your remit, reporting results to the Finance and Administration Director.
Your main missions will be to:

• Contribute to the digitalisation process and propose new solutions while taking into account technical and budgetary constraints
• Be responsible for the operation of existing ICT solutions:

• Proactively monitor and optimise system databases across Servers (MySQL), performing regular tests to ensure data security, privacy and integrity
• Perform troubleshooting, problem remediation and root cause analysis using a ticket system
• Maintain existing and ensure the integration of new business applications
• Drawing up functional and technical specifications and creating extensive documentation of managed IT systems
• Provide support to business operations by leading rapid-response protocols for production issues, providing workaround solutions and implementing long-term fixes
• Develop automation procedures on regular and recurring tasks
• Collaborate with IT infrastructure team on the management of the environment: MS Azure, M365, Windows/Linux Server, hardware management, installation of new equipment, Wi-Fi, cabling and printers
• Come up with innovative solutions to meet current and future business requirements in automation, development and data management topics
• Take ownership of IT projects and plan the various stages in line with deadlines, budgets and quality
• Coaching and supervising the tasks of an IT Junior

Your profile:
You have 4 to 6 years’ experience as an IT coordinator or IT project manager and have:

• A higher education diploma in computer science (Bac+3 or higher)
• Extensive expertise in database management and development (MySQL)
• Experience in PHP, .NET, Java or Python
• Extensive expertise in PowerShell and VS Code is a huge plus
• Proven experience with Linux and Windows systems
• Experience in MS Azure and M365
• Familiarity with concepts of Active Directotry, LDAP, DNS, DHCP
• Expertise in IT and network fundamentals
• A good command of IT project management
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Fluency in English and French, with Luxembourgish and/or German a serious advantage
• Driving licence

• Knowledge of modelling tools and techniques (such as MS Visio, ARIS Business Designer, UML, etc.)
• Experience with ETL solutions (e.g. Talend)
• Ms Fabrics
